My services fall under two headings: Communication and Fine Art. Communication incorporates communication planning, desktop publishing, writing and editing, commercial photography, a stock image library, and video production. Fine art covers photography and mixed media.
Communications Consultation
I charge by the hour or day for short term assignments, and by a project fee for long-term or more involved assignments. This applies to communication planning, writing and publication design, and website design and development. Expenses for materials and services, as well as travel and lodging for assignments away from home (outside a 50 mile radius), are charged in addition to the fee for service. Whether a project is short or long term, I draft a consulting agreement that sets out responsibilities, fees and deliverables.

Photography and Video Production
I charge by the hour or day for commercial photo and video assignments for businesses and organizations, profit or not-for-profit, and include full usage rights for all content created during the assignment . The hourly rate covers work in addition to the shooting time, including research, location scouting, talent acquisition, equipment preparation, and post-production. I also charge by the project and grant limited usage rights for content created during the assignment. Expenses for materials and services, as well as travel and lodging for assignments away from home (outside a 50 mile radius), are charged in addition to the fee for service.

Stock Images
I maintain a stock image library of over 1,000 select digital and film based images organized in two-dozen categories. Film based images are 35mm and 6 by 7 cm transparencies which have been scanned at 2400 dpi. Images in the website catalog are low to medium resolution and digitally marked. One time North American rights are available on all images, Additional rights may be negotiated. Minimum charge for licensing one time rights: $50 per image for print applications $100 per image for digital applications.
Mixed-Media Art
My mixedi-media art incorporates photographic prints, found objects, collage, acrylic and watercolor painting, and audio and video recordings. These works are mounted on medium density fiberboard, 1/2 to 3/4 inches thick which is painted satin black and sealed. Pricing reflects the time and technique in creating the photograph and other art media; collecting and finishing artifacts and collage elements; and assembling and finishing the components as a single fine art piece. Shipping and handling charges are additional.
Photographic Prints
Prices reflect the time and technique in creating the photograph and producing the finished print, and the cost of materials for printing the photograph and mounting and framing it. Shipping and handling charges are additional.
